Since January 1st, 2017 has just been a world
wind! We had an incredibly successful Wedding
Fair that resulted in more consultation booked than almost any other show as
well as an award, we are busier in our ‘slow months’ (January – April) than
ever before, AND we are a finalist nominee for Best Floral Design for the 2017
Calgary Event Awards (http://www.eventawards.ca/finalists-yeg/)!
The award we won at the Wedding Fair is probably what we are
most excited about though. There was a
tabletop competition this year where ten different event companies all had a
unique theme they had to bring to life using only one table for their
design. Our theme was Elegance. Attendees of the Wedding Fair got to vote for
their favorite, and they chose ours. This means a lot, as those are potential
clients seeing and voting for our work over our direct competitors. Thank you Calgary and the Wedding Fair for
your support; we can’t wait to see how the rest of 2017 unfolds, but if it keeps
up like this, we will be very happy indeed!
